    Vtg HUNTER Buscadero Holster Set 3158, Ammo Belt .38 Caliber,Tooled Leather Med. 34"-39"
    The 3158 is still made today but this one is from the 1950's and a little more ornate. It has an extra supporting piece of leather behind the holster opening on the belt, too. The actual western style holsters are no longer done with tooled leather patterns, like this one is, and they started putting model numbers on their holsters a long time ago but this doesn't have a number.
    Total length of the holster is 8.5" with a 4.75" opening. It looks like 6.5" of that length is for the
    barrel
    of the gun. It is open at the bottom. Looks like it's for a western style revolver.
    Someone drilled a couple of extra holes in the belt to
    accommodate
    a smaller waist.
