Large Jade Jadeite & 14K Yellow Gold Modern Ring Size 9

Description

Presented is a fairly modern, large jadeite and 14 karat yellow gold ring in a
size 9. The jade is most likely from China and the setting is American. The jade
stone is a vibrant green shade and it is securely bezel set in a large 14 karat
gold setting. This ring can be resized because of the simple design of the band.
The inside is marked 14K.
This piece is in virtually mint condition. There are no abrasions to the
stone, no dents, no breaks and no repairs.
We have looked at this piece with a hand-held spectroscope and due to a band
of absorption in the red range, we conclude that the jade has probably been
dyed.
The ring is a size 9 and weighs 9.5 grams.
