This board is flashed with Ender 3 / Pro and filament runout sensor firmware HOWEVER it is compatible with Ender 3 v2 / 5 (please see product description) This is the newest version of Creality's 4.2.7 32 Bit silent control board with original TMC2225 Trinamic stepper drivers which greatly reduce the sound of the stepper motors during use. This new 32Bit version has more memory to store more functions and features of Marlin firmware like thermal runaway protection, resume print, and many others.
A filament run-out sensor is also included in the upgrade kit. The filament run-out sensor is installed in front of your extruder and ensures that the printer has not run out of filament. Should the roll of filament run out in the middle of a print, when then proper firmware is flashed, the filament sensor will detect it, and your printer can pause the print and wait for you to replace the filament and resume the print.
The silent fan included is intended for use as the hotend cooling fan. The wires on this fan are too short and need to be spliced with original fan wires to be long enough to reach the control board. Compatible with ALL Ender Series printers as direct swap for older model v1.1.5. If using with Ender 3 v2 OR Ender 5 Please flash the proper firmware for your printer. This is a very simple 3 minute process and t is an extensive video guide for the entire process. Links in the description.
Capricorn PTFE tubing is manufactured to high tolerance to ensure the filament retraction and feeding can be as accurate as possible. This simple plug and play upgrade can increase print quality instantly. quality stainless steel pneumatic fittings come with metal teeth to clasp onto the PTFE. The upgraded springs are stiffer and sturdier than stock bed springs and are 5mm longer in length. You may need to raise the z-axis limit switch by 4-6mm to accommodate for the longer length.

IF YOU ARE UNCERTAIN ABOUT THE PROCESS TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR STOCK BOARD BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE WIRES FOR REFERENCE!! Springs included in this bundle are stiffer and sturdier than the stock bed springs on all ender series printers. The spring sizes also differ from the stock springs in length by roughly 5mm. in order to install the new springs, you may need to raise the z-axis limit switch by 4-6mm to accommodate for the longer length of these upgraded springs.
