Paint both sides of your flat item, then spray a sealer on both sides to protect the paint let dry for approx 24 hours, next take a ribbon or yarn and glue it into a loop onto the back side of the flat item. Now you have a hanging ornament! I added a demo pic of another Item to show you how it's done, sorry all painted ones are demo's only!
